1. General Participation

Guests are expected to behave respectfully toward event staff, venue staff, performers, volunteers, vendors, sponsors, and other attendees.

Gemini Entertainment/Pogo Bros Inc. reserves the right to refuse entry, remove participants, or restrict participation at any time due to unsafe, disruptive, abusive, discriminatory, illegal, or inappropriate behaviour, including excessive intoxication, harassment, cheating during games or contests, or refusal to follow event or venue direction.

No refund or compensation will be provided to individuals removed from an event due to policy violations.

2. Ticketing, Registration & Admission

Some Gemini Entertainment events are ticketed, while others may offer free registration or public admission.

Free registration events do not carry cash value and do not guarantee admission where venue capacity, licensing requirements, or safety limitations apply.

Ticket holders and registered attendees are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of their registration and contact information at the time of purchase or sign-up.

Certain events may have age restrictions or licensed areas. Age requirements, identification requirements, and admission conditions will be identified on the individual event listing where applicable.

Guests may be required to present valid government-issued identification for age-restricted or licensed events.

3. Refunds, Event Changes & Cancellations

Refund policies may vary depending on the event type.

For ticketed events, refunds may be considered in situations involving significant event changes, cancellations, or material schedule changes, at the discretion of Gemini Entertainment/Pogo Bros Inc.

Requests related to ticketed events must be submitted within the timelines communicated for the specific event.

Free registration events are not eligible for refunds.

Event schedules, performers, activities, vendors, food services, games, prizes, and programming may be adjusted, substituted, delayed, shortened, or modified where reasonably necessary.

Gemini Entertainment/Pogo Bros Inc. reserves the right to cancel, postpone, relocate, interrupt, or modify events due to circumstances including, but not limited to:

• Severe weather
• Air quality or wildfire smoke conditions
• Safety concerns
• Venue issues
• Technical difficulties
• Performer illness or cancellations
• Government or regulatory requirements
• Circumstances beyond reasonable control

4. Venue Policies & Licensed Premises

Many Gemini Entertainment events take place at third-party venues, including restaurants, pubs, bars, outdoor public spaces, and licensed facilities.

Attendees must also comply with the policies, rules, licensing requirements, and directions of the host venue and its staff.

Alcohol service is subject to Alberta liquor laws and venue-specific policies. Service may be refused to any individual at the discretion of venue staff or event organizers.

Guests are responsible for arranging safe transportation to and from events involving alcohol service.

5. Trivia, Games, Contests & Prize Activities

Some events may include trivia, Name That Tune, karaoke competitions, interactive games, draws, contests, or prize activities.

Prizes, giveaways, sponsorship items, and promotional items may vary by event and are subject to availability. Gemini Entertainment/Pogo Bros Inc. reserves the right to substitute prizes where necessary.

Some events may not offer prizes.

Event organizers reserve the right to disqualify individuals or teams for cheating, abusive behaviour, tampering, harassment, disruptive conduct, or failure to follow event rules or staff direction.

6. Photography, Video & Media Consent

Gemini Entertainment events may be photographed, livestreamed, recorded, or documented for promotional, marketing, archival, or social media purposes.

By attending an event, guests consent to the use of their image, likeness, voice, or appearance in event-related media without compensation or additional permission.

Guests who have specific concerns related to photography or media participation are encouraged to contact event organizers in advance where possible.

7. Accessibility & Inclusion

Gemini Entertainment/Pogo Bros Inc. aims to make events welcoming and accessible wherever reasonably possible.

Accessibility accommodations may vary depending on the venue, location, event format, and operational limitations.

8. Assumption of Risk & Liability

By attending or participating in an event, guests acknowledge that participation in public events, entertainment activities, games, licensed environments, festivals, and outdoor gatherings carries certain inherent risks.

Guests voluntarily assume responsibility for their participation and personal belongings.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gemini Entertainment/Pogo Bros Inc., its staff, volunteers, contractors, performers, sponsors, venue partners, and affiliates shall not be held liable for personal injury, illness, loss, damage, theft, delays, interruptions, or other incidents arising from attendance or participation, except where caused by gross negligence or as otherwise required by law.

Certain events may include additional terms, policies, waivers, or participation requirements. Where applicable, those terms will be communicated through the specific event listing, registration platform, venue, or event materials.
